All you need to know

This ritual-focused course will furnish you with the knowledge and confidence to practise the Heathen religion alone or with others, making wise decisions about worship based on reliable historical evidence. The course assumes you are interested in Germanic paganism, know about the gods and myths, and want to begin practising this religion, but require guidance on how to do so. Therefore each lesson will focus on practical information about prayers, festivals, rites, altar setups, idols etc.

  • Learn how to pray to and make offerings to the gods in a way that will please them

  • Learn about holy places, temples, idols and establishing sacred spaces

  • Learn about the lunar-solar Heathen calendar and the 9 main festivals of the year

  • Learn how to arrange an altar, use idols and sacred fire
